Wherever extremely high cold or heat insulation is required, Vakutherm can be used. The drastic reduction in insulation thickness with Vakutherm enables insulation solutions that were previously technically impossible. Vakutherm is a high-performance thermal insulation board with a currently assumed design value between 0.0045 W/(mK) and 0.007 W/(mK). The figures provided are based on research and measurement studies by various testing institutes, such as FIW Munich or EMPA.
