Der Aerogel Architecture Award 2024 steht vor der Tür

09.04.2024
On January 20, 2024, the submission phase for the fourth Aerogel Architecture Award officially began. Interested parties are invited to submit their examples of Aerogel use in architecture, construction, renovation, and heritage conservation by June 14. The best projects will be honored in the categories Realized Solutions and Student Designs.

The Aerogel Architecture Awards 2024 once again seek the best internationally realized projects from architects and civil engineers, as well as the most promising design ideas from students in these fields. Based on the submissions, a panel of experts will select the finalists, who will compete for the Aerogel Architecture Award AAA 2024 on July 12, 2024. The award ceremony will take place at the NEST on the Empa campus in Dübendorf, near Zurich, and will bring greater visibility and international recognition to the winning projects. For instance, leading international journals and online platforms regularly publish the award-winning designs.

The award recognizes outstanding examples of energy efficiency, unconventional solutions, translucent daylight concepts, and high-performance building solutions using super-insulating Aerogel materials.
